A Heartfelt Petition to God
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You not with perfect words, but with an open heart.
There are days when the weight of life feels too heavy, and I don’t always know what to pray. But I know You listen—not just to my words, but to the silent cries of my soul.
Lord, I need You.
In the places where I feel empty, pour out Your Spirit.
In the corners of my heart that are tired or anxious, bring Your peace.
Where I have doubted, restore my faith.
Where I have wandered, call me home again.
You are the God who sees me—every broken part, every unspoken worry, every dream I’ve tucked away in fear.
And still, You love me. Still, You draw near.
I don’t want to go through the motions.
I don’t want to just believe in You—I want to walk with You.
I want to hear Your voice in the quiet, feel Your hand in the dark, and know—without question—that You are with me.
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Help me to love You with everything I am—heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Teach me to trust You, even when the path is unclear.
You are my refuge, my strength, my Father, my Friend.
You are everything good, everything true.
So here I am, Lord.
Take all of me.
I surrender my plans, my fears, my past, and my future.
Let Your will be done—in my life, in my heart, and through my story.
